Regional Sales Assessor – VELA Team

Location: Northeast
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week
Hours: 37 hours per week, TBC between 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £26,000 plus OTE bonus
Extras: Company provided van, laptop and mobile phone

Bennett Workplace Solutions Ltd are a UK wide reseller of VELA chairs. We assess for, recommend and supply the complete range of VELA activity chairs, helping increase independence and quality of life for all ages from young children to adults with varying mobility needs.

We are looking for a Regional Sales Assessor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a friendly, approachable manner and be able to build relationships quickly. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, and sales driven whilst being empathetic to specific customer requirements and have the ability to think innovatively to ensure customer needs are met.

They will possess excellent presentation skills and be confident to share knowledge with others in both one-to-one or group formats. A responsible, proactive approach and high-level organisational skills are essential in this role. Full product training and ongoing support is provided as part of this position.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct specialist assessments for children and adults
  • Providing quotations Deliver, set up, repair and maintenance of products, including chairs and DSE furniture
  • Develop and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Quantify and action incoming leads
  • Generate new leads
  • Area development – identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities in your area
  • Plan and deliver product demonstrations/training sessions
  • Attend local and national events to promote the product
  • General ergonomic assessments for business clients
  • Occasional overnight stays where required
Requirements:
The successful applicant will possess the following qualities
  • Clear and confident communication skills with both children and adults
  • Sales driven
  • Customer focused
  • Self-motivated
  • Practical skills (for ongoing repairs and maintenance) – full training to be provided
  • Previous experience of the paediatric and adult disability industry beneficial
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • It is worth noting that there will be some manual handling required as part of this role, as some of the products and chairs can weigh on average up to 35kg. Manual handling training is provided, and these items can split down to reduce the total weight.
